2014: The Year that was…well a challenging blessing.
The annual tradition continues — my year in review.
Since I don’t have much time, I will keep it brief.
Personal: This year flew by so fast. It was one of the best ones yet. From the various road trips, the handful of weddings, moderating two panel discussions at a national journalism convention, volunteering at church and even reconnecting with extended family and old friends from Haiti and Canada.
This year I celebrated my 30th birthday. While I don’t feel like I am 30, I do however feel wiser. If only I could tell the 10-year old version of me back in 1994 the things I do know now. Granted I am not perfect and I know there are lots that I need to improve on. Life is a work in progress.
